While she has not yet formally announced her candidacy, in an email sent to supporters Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison states that she is, in fact, running for the governor's seat in Austin.
Her email states that people she's encountering around Texas have expressed frustration with current governor Rick Perry's leadership, and goes on to state that "people from all parts of Texas feel it is time for a change in Austin."

Lets just forget the parties. Lets vote for someone who will do something for our State. Someone who support states rights, someone who will protect our borders, someone who will support the will of the people. And KBH is not it (Neither is Rick Perry!) We need someone like Greg Abbott. If there is someone qualified, do us a favor and come forward now before its too late.

How about someone that will bring us out of the dark ages?
REAL education on things like birth control (maybe we can stop being #1 in teen pregnancies), REAL science education... get rid of the joke of TAKS.
Health care reform (ohhh maybe I could actually get health insurance and that surgery I need!)
REAL air pollution rules and enforcement (instead of political contributions)
Then there's the home insurance nightmare...
These are the issues that matter. Wouldn't it be nice if we actually had someone in power that did something for a change - that wasn't part of being bought off by the lobbyist.
I am such a naive dreamer.

I have a feeling the dems will get elected this next cycle, seeing alot of urban texans have gotten tired of the BS politics both KBH and Goodhair seem to practice.
