Strange robbery spree on Saturday in eastern Dallas and Red Bird area
Four bank robberies took place in eastern Dallas and the Red Bird area on Saturday within a two-hour window -- and they were unrelated. Seems like a bunch of robbers all had the same idea at the same time:
10:37 a.m.: Bank of America at 2500 N. Haskell Ave. just east of Central Expressway. Black man, 45, 6', wearing glasses and NY cap.
10:45 a.m.: Chase Bank in the 2300 block of Gus Thomasson Road near Ferguson Road. Bald white man, 40s, 5'10", green shirt and sunglasses on his head (bad look, dude).
10:46 a.m.: Wachovia Bank at Interstate 20 and West Wheatland Road. Hispanic man, late 20s, 5'4", glasses, two-tone cap.
12:40 p.m.: Chase Bank in the 6200 block of Greenville Avenue, near Caruth Haven Lane. Black man, 40s, 6'1".
