Roy Williams wore a No. 4 jersey during a practice, just as a joke. He donned a No. 4 jersey at the University of Texas, but following NFL rules, he now wears No. 11 as a Dallas Cowboy.

— Cowboys kicked off their off-season workout with minicamp, which started today at Standridge Stadium in Carrollton. It's their only mandatory off-season training and will continue through Wednesday.

Attending the minicamp was Rich Behm, the scouting assistant who was paralyzed when the Cowboys training facility collapsed in early May. Behm watched on from the pressbox.

The Dallas Morning News sports crew got some semi-juicy insight on video today. Coach Wade Phillips says he's confident in wide receiver Roy Williams' abilities, saying: “Whether we had Terrell or not, we were confident that Roy Williams was going to be a player...There was no doubt in our mind that he could play.”

And Williams dishes about losing eight more pounds, to get to 212. “Body weight is a big deal in this game, and people don't understand that,” he says.
