Alligator found in Fort Worth neighborhood following rain
Unfortunately, the gator was injured after being hit by a car and had to be put down.
Chalk this up to my "new thing I learned today:" Alligators are an active species in North Texas. A 10-foot alligator was found in a Fort Worth neighborhood last Saturday, an event a local game warden is said to be due to the recent rain. Unfortunately, the gator was injured after being hit by a car and had to be put down.
