DART to receive $950,000 federal grant
Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will grant $950,000 to Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). DART will use the funding to purchase supplemental DART buses.
“This grant will help DART modernize its bus fleet,” Congresswoman Johnson said. “Grants like this enable DART to provide better service, which enables more DART riders to get where they need to go more quickly. I am pleased the DOT continues to fund our local mass transit systems.”
