Denton and Coppell community banks to merge
Access 1st Capital Bank of Denton and Town Center Bank of Coppell today announced the signing of an agreement and plan of merger to combine the two North Texas community banks. Under the terms of the agreement Town Center Bank will merge with and into Access 1st Capital Bank, following regulatory and shareholder approval of both groups.
Access 1st Capital Bank was established in October 2007 and has grown to total assets over $82 million, with its banking headquarters located in Denton and a loan production office in North Dallas.
Town Center Bank was established in 2004 and has $51 million in total assets. Town Center Bank is based in Coppell and has a branch in the rapidly growing UnicornLake business development in Denton. The merger of Town Center Bank into Access 1st Capital Bank will result in assets totaling $133 million dollars and four locations in Denton and Dallas Counties.
Randy L. Robinson, chief executive officer of Access 1st Capital Bank, will continue as CEO of the combined companies following the merger.
Access 1st Capital Bank headquarters are located at 724 Myrtle St. in Denton. The Town Center Bank branches are located at 654 North Denton Tap Road in Coppell and at 3101 Wind River in Denton. The Access 1st Capital Bank loan production office is located at 10400 N. Central Expressway in Dallas.
