Lake Lewisville site of two missing people; both feared drowned
This has been a difficult week for emergency crews at Lake Lewisville. Two people remain missing and are feared drowned in its waters.
On Wednesday (June 17), the search was called off for 9-month-old Daisja Weaver as suspicion was directed at the girl's father, Alandus Weaver, who stands accused by the girl's mother (Tamaira Creagh) of tying a sandbag to the girl before throwing her off a bridge.
Today, the search will resume for an unidentified man in his 30s who slipped under the water while he and a friend were swimming from a pontoon boat east of the 35E bridge.
