While I recognize that the Nestles people may have believed that modest doses of dough e.coli is a 'new-age organic' way to, in this case, delete cookies; for the rest of us: www.aboutcookies.org/Default.aspx?page=

funny that this outbreak occurs just as the documentary Food, Inc. opened in Dallas. it's at the Magnolia in the West Village, and at the Angelika in Plano.
the documentary explains some of the reasons behind the crazy increase we're witnessing in the number of e. coli outbreaks.
am finishing up a story on the film -- coming soon to Dining
