Dallas couple quarantined in China for swine flu scare
After a passenger on their United flight to Beijing was diagnosed with swine flu, John and Joan Reisch Boddie of Dallas were quarantined for a week in a one-star hotel in China. Fed three times a day, they weren't allowed to have air conditioning because officials believed the flu to be spread through the air. The Reisch Boddies were eventually released, with a bouquet of flowers, to continue their vacation, but will return to Dallas now a week later.
