| Full event details » | |
On Wednesday, July 8 at 10 p.m., Studio Movie Grill in Addison will temporarily suspend admission fees (due -- perhaps -- to temporary insanity) and open its theater doors to another of those benighted Horror Remix productions.
This time, the theme will be teens getting brutally murdered at the mall -- a subject dear to many of our hearts. The Initiation, Hide and Go Shriek, and Chopping Mall will be filleted and presented in concentrated, good-parts-only fashion.
Host puppets Cheesecake and Thunderclap will MC the event, which will include some fun extras and short features.
NOTE that the "mall" scenes in The Initiation were filmed in Dallas' own World Trade Center. (Because, apparently, the filmmakers couldn't find an actual mall anywhere in the vicinity ...)
