Collin College Preston Ridge campus in Frisco expanding culinary arts facilities
FRISCO The Preston Ridge campus of Collin Community College is expanding its culinary arts program including a big conversion of the natatorium -- a structurally separate building containing a swimming pool -- into a culinary arts building that'll house the Hospitality and Food Service Management classes.
Previously, they had one kitchen at Allen High School. Now they'll have three full kitchens and one classroom that doubles as a restaurant. This is cool: By using the hollowed-out space where the pool was, they didn't have to jackhammer into the ground to install the plumbing.
