Watters Creek in Allen to present free concert series
Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is proud to announce "L!ve On the Green," a free outdoor concert series. Listen to an eclectic assortment of live local bands while enjoying a leisurely alfresco dinner on one of the numerous patios overlooking the stage on The Green. Watters Creek is an urban-style retail resort providing a beautiful place to relax, shop and dine creek-side among art, lush landscaping and green expanses of lawn.
The successful music series continues through July every Friday starting June 26 through July 31. Music fans will enjoy dining alfresco and spreading their blankets on The Green to hear local favorites including Eight Arms to Hold You, Paige Jackson, Dance Fuse, Don’t Tell Mama and King Creole Band.
“L!ve On the Green” is perfect for family, friends or a date. Be sure to get there early to enjoy a wide variety of dining options. So come hungry, fuel up, boogie down, and make a night of it! Blankets allowed. No lawn chairs, coolers, or alcohol permitted.
The series takes place every Friday starting June 26 through July 31, 2009. Weather permitting, shows start at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public.

June 26: Eight Arms to Hold You -- Beatles Tribute Band
July 3: Paige Jackson -- Jazz Vocalist
July 10: Dance Fuse -- Eight-piece band performing hits from the 70’s , 80’s and today
July 17: Don’t Tell Mama -- 10-piece variety horn band
July 24: Don’t Tell Mama -- 10-piece variety horn band
July 31: King Creole Band -- Six-piece variety band

Yeah sounds like fun temps around 100 degrees all to see a cover band play a song you heard 10,000 time before. Oh and no chairs or coolers allowed....forget it. Plano Oak Point venue allows you to bring in anything including coolers and chairs.
