Trustees in Fort Worth are expected to vote on $15.4 million in budget cuts that would affect community and adult education programs and reduce the number of campus monitors throughout the district.

FWISD is expected to receive $40 million in stimulus money and hopes to return some of that to the programs that will be affected as a result of the expected budget cuts.

UPDATE: The trustees passed the budget cuts, which will result in at least 95 employees losing their jobs, including 40 campus monitors and 44 teachers working in an alternative-school program.
