Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert discreetly puts Preston Hollow home on the market
DALLAS Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert and his wife Laura have very discreetly put their Preston Hollow mansion on sale, says Candy Evans at DallasDirt.
They've listed it with controversial real estate agent Nicky Sheets, but it isn't on the public MLS system and no one will say the price. DCAD values it at around $5 million.

Good. Maybe this liar will leave town. He certainly has not made good on promises and has made a habit of deception.

Hmmm...as a Real Estate agent, I'm offended that if the property is for sale it hasn't been listed in the MLS system. Members of the system, and I'm certain that controversial agent Nicky Sheets is a member, are required to post new listings in the MLS system within 72 hours... or they are in violation of MLS rules. How can I bring a Buyer for the property if I don't have the information on it ???

If you are a real estate agent, I'll guess that you were as much a culprit of the real estate bubble as unscrupulous mortgage brokers. So, why don't you just find a rock?

Motivated buyer off the books, so the feds don't clip Nicky Sheets commission. Meanwhile, Leppert is preparing to dump other assets, too. Something very interesting could be going on. It'll make salacious reading I'm sure (or viewing during the sweeps). It's great fun to be a Republican, ain't it?

Rawlins Gilliland, says:
Mayor Leppert insider friends of outsiders who have inside contacts suggest that this move to ‘liquidate their Preston Hollow homestead’ has ‘roots in faith’. That after repeated visits with ‘a childhood friend who later became a priest’, the Mayor has decided to take a ‘vow of poverty’, in which case he and his wife will move into a ‘rebuilt half of a friend’s doublewide trailer’ to be moved weekly about town to ‘show interest in and respect for’ Dallas’ less fortunate areas’.
