Top Chef fans will get a chance to eat food prepared by Tom Colicchio himself. You can also hobnob with a winemaker or get an extra-generous dose of lycopene.
Thursday
Tom Colicchio Wine Dinner at Craft
Squeal! The chrome-dome from Tom Chef oversees a five-course dinner paired with wines from Ramey Wine Cellars. $115 per person inclusive of tax and service charge, and worth every penny. Reservations are required. Contact Michelle Tran: 214-397-4177 or email michelle.tran@whotels.com.
Friday
Wine Tasting: 90 Pointers - Whites and Red
"90 Pointers" refers to wine ratings where wine is ranked on a scale of 1 to 100. That makes 90 pretty darn good. Two flights of five wines are a mere $15.
Saturday
Is there anything that tastes more like summer than biting into a ripe, juicy tomato? Aurora thinks not. They'll be using tomatoes, loaded with beneficial lycopene, in every course.
Wine Tasting: South African Wines with Imperial
Two good things about this tasting:
- South African wines can be pretty darn good.
- It's free.
Tuesday
Aside from the opportunity to hobnob with the guy making the wine, you get a great menu that includes bruschetta, prosciutto-wrapped shrimp salad, lobster ravioli with a crabmeat cognac sauce, Italian bread, and tiramisu.

No, I don't. I was hoping you did. Even if I did and I were to write it up I would have to limit my thoughts to 3000 characters in a single post. I guess the fanboys can't take more than that at once. Presumably I could break them up in to several posts in several threads thusly:
"OMG, I am so awesome"
"Pavel, IM me"
"Dallas smoking ban"
"I couldn't see your relationship status"
However, in one post nevermore. So, desktop, save, forget it comma.
