Spine surgeons Dr. Douglas Won and Dr. Michael Rimlawi of the Dallas-based Minimally Invasive Spine Institute will offer free scoliosis screenings this Saturday, June 27, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Forest Park Medical Center, Screenings are for Dallas-area residents in conjunction with June’s National Scoliosis Awareness Month. An estimated 7 million people in the United States live with scoliosis, an abnormal curvature in the spine that can affect infants, adolescents, and adults. If left untreated, scoliosis can eventually lead to chronic back pain and impact heart and lung functions.
During the free screenings, parents will have an opportunity to discuss new, state-of-the-art treatment options specific to their child’s situation.

So is this for children only or for any Dallas resident? This is what stopped me from getting into the Air Force so might as well get it checked out. I never noticed that I had it nor does it bother me so ya, haven't really bothered to see a doc about it. Might as well go now while it's free.
