After scary alert prompts students to take shelter, SMU gas leak sealed
SMU students were advised via campus alert to take cover inside the nearest building Thursday morning. The scantly detailed message stated that there was an emergency on the main campus and that students should not go outside.
The panic was over a gas leak at the Binkley Garage, by Airline Road and Binkley Avenue. Crews sealed the link by 11 a.m.
