Uptown Dallas’ West Village to host weekly music series through July
Starting July 7, West Village in Dallas' Uptown will host a music series on Tuesday evenings. More details below:
The Series kicks off July 7th with the unique and soulful sounds of singer/songwriter Mike Maven. Scott McCurry will follow on July 14th performing a mix of his addictive indie pop songs. On July 21st, revelers will enjoy the musical musings of Peter Black, lead singer and guitarist, from alternative pop rock band, The Orbans. The Series’ concludes on July 28th with A Taste of West Village benefitting the North Texas Food Bank’s Table for Four campaign featuring delectable nibbles from neighboring restaurants, and lively pop/rock by Josh Goode and Bobby Hathorn of the Josh Goode Band, as well as sets by Brannon Barnett, and acoustic rocker, Chris Johnson.
All the shows take place in the South Alley, just off Lemmon Avenue between the Mi Cocina and Lazare, and run between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
