Summer solstice celebration at White Rock Lake in Dallas on Saturday draws several hundred
DALLAS Saturday's annual summer solstice celebration drew "several hundred people," reports the DMN.
The event didn't actually happen on the summer solstice because the Bath House Cultural Center at White Rock Lake, where it was held, wasn't available on that day.
Organizer Amy "MoonLady" Martin had taken a break from orchestrating the summer event since 2002 because it was too hot.
But hey, how about that DMN, covering a festival devoted to pagan rituals, whoa.
