Dallas-based IndoorDIRECT, which operates a national restaurant digital TV network, has opened a Los Angeles office to sell advertising for theBITE Network, a combination of entertainment and advertising tailored to reach the 202 million Americans who visit quick-serve and fast-casual restaurants each month.

The company hired Mandi Dyner as vice president of sales, West Coast region to handle companies in the area wanting to reach the 10 million people that view theBITE Network monthly at 1,000 restaurant locations in top DMAs nationwide.

She is a media industry veteran who joins indoorDIRECT from Screenvision Cinema Advertising. In her first year there, she received the company award for the most new business. Previously, she was with the ABC National Television Station group in Los Angeles for four years, where she grew revenue for the ABC Owned Station Group and the regional sports stations they represent. Before that, she was with the Disney Company at WLS-TV in Chicago. She started her career selling radio advertising.

"The West Coast is home to a wide variety of companies that will benefit from advertising on theBITE Network," said Steven Justman, president, entertainment, marketing & sales for indoorDIRECT. "Mandi has the relationships, experience and market knowledge to introduce those companies to the creative opportunities to reach the highly engaged viewers of theBITE Network."

Research indicates that almost 90 percent of those eating in a restaurant showing theBITE Network noticed the dining room screens and that 55 percent of them recalled an advertisement when asked unaided.
