Marty Walker Gallery presents: Frontroom = Backroom
In advance of the fall season -- and the forthcoming remodel to scale back the gallery and reduce inventory -- works will be temporarily discounted.
Marty Walker Gallery is taking full advantage of the gallery’s wall real-estate in a special show unveiling the contents of the gallery’s backroom for a salon-style exhibition, Frontroom = Backroom. In advance of the fall season -- and the forthcoming remodel to scale back the gallery and reduce inventory -- works will be temporarily discounted, making this exhibition a great opportunity to view and acquire art from a selection of superb works from the gallery’s racks including many works that have never before been exhibited.
Artists include Waddy Armstrong, Andrew Bennett, Douglas Leon Cartmel, Beau Comeaux, Michael Eudy, Mark Flood, Thomas Feulmer, Nick Gaetano, Archie Scott Gobber, Lisa Grossman, Allison Hunter, Angela Kallus, Ted Kincaid, Anna Krachey, William Lamson, Pard Morrison, Tom Orr, Matthew Porter, Susie Rosmarin, Jay Shinn, and Kathy Webster among others.
Also, inquire about our print inventory to view some rare works in our flat files by Polly Apfelbaum, Rupert Deese, Roland Fischer, Jonathan Higgins, James Nares, Ed Ruscha, Alison Elizabeth Taylor, Bernar Venet, and more.
Marty Walker Gallery is committed to exhibiting contemporary art by mid-career and emerging artists. The gallery’s formal program is focused on inventive use of materials and/or process-oriented works as well as outstanding works in video, photography, sculpture and painting. In collaboration with numerous national and international institutions, museums, and galleries, Marty Walker Gallery aims to bring dynamic and challenging work to Dallas. In addition, the gallery strives to cultivate awareness and education in contemporary art, and welcomes individuals new to collecting art.
