Dallas-area Starbucks among the many if not all branches to allow customizable Frappuccinos

Starbucks is making its Frappuccino drinks customizable. Which is news. It used to be just a formula; now they're letting you use milk or soy or whatever. Cringe and read on:
It’s time to get creative – with more than 87,000 ways to customize your hot beverage, now the Frappuccino is no exception. Tall skim two pump caramel, one pump vanilla with extra coffee? Coming right up. Customers can make their Frappuccino® even better – you simply select your milk, (skim, soy, whole, or two percent), add more coffee, or add your favorite flavored syrups like toffee nut or mocha to create your perfect beverage.
With consumer’s cravings for healthier options, Starbucks is incredibly relevant as we have removed artificial colors, flavors, and other unnecessary ingredients from our drinks, offer customers their choice of fresh milk, provide a low-fat customization option (no whip, less sugar, and non-fat milk) and provide a soy option, a great non-dairy alternative.
Skipping past the tone, which is so overtly promotional that it doesn't warrant comment (though the phrase "incredibly relevant" should get its own awestruck nod), how about that italicized "consumer's"? Shouldn't that be consumers-plural-followed-by-the-apostrophe? I.E. consumers' ? Or is the release saying that there's only ONE consumer with a craving for healthier options? If it is supposed to be plural, you'd think the copywriter and/or the copy editor hired by Starbucks to disseminate this thing mighta caught that. I mean, the whole thing is only two paragraphs long.

I think they think most consumer's writing skills are not quite that advanced, so their not very concerned with it.
That being said, I don't get this either - I've always been able to order a soy Frappuccino, so I don't see much of a change?

Also, his "their" should be "they're." He's correct in his assertion that most consumers' writing skills aren't very advanced.
