Dallas-based Half Price Books benefiting from bad economy
The number of books bought by Dallas-based Half Price Books in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is up 7.5% in the period between July 2008 and January 2009, as compared to the same time a year ago. A spokeswoman says that sales usually slow down after school starts, but they haven't this year. Because of, you know, the E word. E as in economy.
