NX35 features 100+ local and/or SXSW bands playing over four days in Denton
Actually going to SXSW 2009 is soooo 2007.
As yet another alternative to hitting up SXSW, NX35 allows you to stick around town and still get the music conference feel. Or, conferette as the organizers are calling their outing. Taking place from March 12-15, 100+ local bands will play at various Denton venues including Andy's Bar, Boiler Room, Banter, The Hydrant, Dan's Silverleaf, Hailey's, J&J's Pizza, and Rubber Gloves.
With music at night, throughout the days there will be music discussions, including a panel led by American Splendor creator, Harvey Pekar. Wrist bands range from $65 for all day and night, all-venue access, to $20 for single night all-venue access.
