Cowboys give T.O. the ol’ heave-ho
The sports world is abuzz this morning as news came out that Jerry Jones finally ended the Cowboys' relationship with wide receiver Terrell Owens. It has been no secret that Owens simply could not get along with many on the Cowboys playing and coaching roster, including quarterback Tony Romo, tight end Jason Witten, and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.
Jerry Jones has confirmed of late a speculation over whether to keep Owens on the roster, but as late as yesterday afternoon's team meetings at Valley Ranch, Jones had reportedly not made a final decision. ESPN broke the news using anonymous sources, though the team has yet to comment or confirm. According to the Associated Press, Owens' spokesperson said he was unreachable and had not yet received the news.
Despite being a well ranked player in the NFL, the question everybody's asking now is, "who will take him?"
ESPN analysts sound off on the decision to let T.O. go
