Greenhill School’s Summer on the Hill program continues to grow and evolve, with new classes and old favorites offered each summer to challenge, inspire, and excite children of all ages. There are sports camps for nearly any varsity sport offered at Greenhill, as well as camps for strength and conditioning, karate and self-defense, and cheerleading. There is even an all-sports camp for children who just enjoy being active. Instructors include Greenhill coaches, distinguished visiting instructors, and even current college and former professional athletes.
Many opportunities to be creative and learn new skills are also available. There are more than two dozen exciting courses for the visual and performing arts. Whether you are an artist interested in painting, drawing, or crafts, a dancer interested in ballet, jazz, or hip-hop, or an actor interested in theater, film, or television we have a course for you. There are also courses for musicians of all kinds, and if you just want to pick up a new skill such as magic, calligraphy, or beading, we’ve got you covered. An outstanding mix of Greenhill faculty and visiting instructors provide these many avenues by which children can be inspired.
There is also plenty of opportunity for adventure at Summer on the Hill. Many terrific courses are offered for ages four and up, including Blast Off into Space, Awesome Animals, and The Wonderful Adventures of Dr. Seuss. Want to improve your chess skills? Try our chess camp. Do you love Harry Potter, Star Wars, camping, or dinosaurs? We have a class for you. There is also an exciting array of Lego and science related courses.
Whether it’s to brush up on certain skills, get a jump on the year ahead, or just have some plain old fun, many children choose to attend our many academic related courses. Every academic area is represented in our program, and there are classes for computer and study skills, Photoshop, and even brain teasers and puzzles as well!
You can learn more about all of our courses at www.greenhill.org. Extended Day is available until 6:00. We hope to see you on The Hill this summer!
