Full event details »

On Saturday, March 7 at the Arlington Convention Center, North Texans will have a chance to both see what drug dealers like to spend their money on, and then buy it.

That's because the U.S. Marshalls Service is putting on an auction to sell off all the drug-raid-acquired paraphernalia they've been accumulating in the course of their busts. (No, not THAT kind of paraphernalia, quiz kid.)

We're talking something like $3 million in jewelry, furs, watches and etc. You know, the kind of thing Tony Montana might have splurged on. (No, not THAT kind of thing, wise guy.)

Auction registration begins at 8 a.m., and the bidding starts at 9.

UPDATE: Looks like about 1,500 folks showed up to bid on the bling (and etc.), with the auction netting something like $3 million

I don't think I'd get up that early on a Saturday to buy drugs, much less drug-related gains.
