Marcelo Saragosa won't see the field for more than a month.

FC Dallas defender Marcelo Saragosa has undergone successful surgery to remove a torn medial meniscus in his right knee and will be out of action for 4-6 weeks.

Saragosa has appeared in six of eight preseason games in 2009, making five starts on the right side of the defense. The six-year MLS veteran previously had surgery on the medial meniscus in the same knee in October of 2008.
