Original AC/DC lead singer playing RJ’s in Fort Worth March 19
Opening for Evans is local Metallica tribute band, Alcohollica.
Dave Evans, the original lead singer of AC/DC (1973-74), will be performing at RJ's Bar in Fort Worth on Thursday, March 19.
One of the five founding members of the Australian hard rock outfit AC/DC, Evans and his band mates released the single "Can I Sit Next To You, Girl," which did well on the Aussie charts. But differences between the band members eventually led to Evans replacement by Bon Scott (who was replaced postmortem by Brian Johnson in 1980). Following his ouster, Evans replaced Greg Douglas as lead vox for English band Rabbit. Evans has also released three solo albums, most recently Judgement Day in 2008.
Cover for Thursday's show is $15, $10 if you bring a canned food item. Normally a 21-and-up bar, the minimum age is lowered to 18 for this event. Opening for Evans is Fort Worth-based Metallica tribute band, Alcohollica.
