Texas Frightmare Weekend 2009 announces new attendees, panel event
Two additions of note have been made to the creepshow goings-on planned for this year's Texas Frightmare Weekend, coming up May 1 - 3 in Dallas (at the Sheraton Grand in Irving):
* Marc Price, formerly Skippy of Family Ties (but, more to the present point, star of the 1986 cult fave Trick or Treat), will join the other announced attendees.
* Texas filmmaker Mel House will be on (severed) hand to conduct a panel discussion of his forthcoming film, Walking Distance - which happens to include Adrienne King among its cast members, who happens to also be sitting in for the panel discussion on the making of the film. Other panelists set to participate include Denton Blane Everett, Melanie Donihoo and James LaMarr (who also produced the film).
House will also screen some preliminary footage from the Walking Distance - thus, attendees will find themselves occupying the cutting edge of horror cinema.
So to speak.
