Bedford police confiscate ecstasy tablets in shape of kiddy vitamins
Bedford police recently confiscated ecstasy tablets during an otherwise fairly routine traffic stop. Hidden under the driver's seat, the pills were stamped into the shape of cartoon characters like Bart Simpson and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, looking very similar to children's vitamins.
A field test confirmed that the pills contained MDMA, the principal ingredient in ecstasy and any good rave.
Bedford police are now warning parents to be wary of similar pills and tactics to distribute such drugs.
