Weatherford golf course owners allegedly buried “stolen” bulldozer
Father and son owners of Canyon West Golf Course in Weatherford, Wes and Stan Mickle, reported their bulldozer stolen about ten years ago.
The $40,000 bulldozer, which they claimed to their insurance company went missing after it was used to build the course, was found by a former employee on the 13th fairway. Rather, poking out from under the 13th fairway.
The Mickles also reported a tractor stolen, but police have not located it. Criminal charges are pending.

I just spruced it up as a coffee bar. A little stainless steel splashguard here, a napkin holder there and a few ferns. Cinch!

...and then they used the bulldozer to drive to Mexico, threw it over the border, and no one has heard from it since. Poor thing is now become part of the underground bulldozing system.
