Dallas-based Tyler Technologies lands three software contracts with Pennsylvania counties

Tyler Technologies, Inc. announced today that it will simplify the administration of pension administration plans for three Pennsylvania counties by implementing Tyler’s Pension Management solution. Under the agreements, Lawrence County (New Castle), Franklin County (Chambersburg) and Somerset County (Somerset) will implement Tyler’s solution. The contracts include software licenses, related professional services, maintenance and support.

“Tyler’s Pension Management solution is an excellent choice for Pennsylvania counties such as Franklin, Lawrence and Somerset. Not only does it meet state law, but it also offers the flexibility and functionality that will enable them to improve the efficiency with which they manage their pension plans and to enhance services to constituents. We anticipate our solution will continue to experience growth among Pennsylvania counties and throughout the U.S.,” noted John S. Marr, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Tyler Technologies, Inc.

Lawrence County covers 360 square miles of land and is home to 91,000 residents. Franklin County has a population of 141,600 and spreads across 772 square miles of land. Home to 77,800 residents, Somerset County has 1,075 square miles of land.
