SnoCore 2009 featuring Static X and Saliva hits Palladium Ballroom on April 7
SNO CORE® returns for its 13th year, coming to the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas on Tuesday, April 7. The touring festival is the original winter lifestyle traveling fair featuring both live music and an integrated marketing experience. For its 2009 outing, SNO CORE® features Static X, Saliva, Burn Halo and The Flood. The quartet of acts joins the historical tapestry of previous star SNO CORE® artists which have included Seether, Blink 182, Incubus, Sublime, Everclear, System of a Down, and many others. Venues in 31 markets have been selected for this excursion, each averaging a capacity of 1000-1500, sure to be filled with active young adults whose lives revolve around music, action sports, gaming and social networking.
Static X, touring in support of their upcoming sixth release titled Cult of Static, has sold a combined 2.3 million albums in their first five releases in the U.S. alone. For its part, Saliva has enjoyed robust sales of 2.1 million units, behind Top 10 debuts Blood Stained (2007) and Survival (2004). Burn Halo features front man James Hart - formerly of Eighteen Visions - and will be releasing their debut full-length this March. The Flood will open each show.
Saliva shared, "Saliva is very excited to be co-headlining this year's SNO CORE® tour and can't wait to rock the stage with Static-X, Burn Halo and The Flood. It will be great to be on the road this spring promoting our new album, Cinco Diablo and single 'How Could You.'"
