Dog celebrity draws stargazing dog lovers to Fort Worth show
not provided by Fort Worth Kennel Club
"C'mon, Manfred. Open up and let Fluffy out. There's a good dog."
Saturday's (March 21) Fort Worth Kennel Club dog show at the Amon G. Carter Exhibits Hall drew more rabid fans of dogdom than it might otherwise have done due to an appearance made by Westminster Kennel Club "Best in Show" winner Stump.
Stump's a 10-year-old Sussex spaniel with an even disposition who reportedly stood (crouched?) by patiently while starry-eyed fans and dog lovers in general variously posed with him and took his picture. At a cost of $1 per. With proceeds going to the Responsible Pet Owners Alliance.
