Man shot dead in park near Dallas’ Medical City
There were multiple witnesses on hand Saturday night (March 21) who heard and saw the shooting incident that left 23-year-old Irving resident Alexander Chavez dead.
That's because the shooting happened at a crowded Dallas park (Anderson Bonner, on Park Central Dr. near Medical City) where crowds were gathered to watch a soccer game.
The shooter was in a white SUV; Chavez was approaching the vehicle after engaging in an argument with its occupants over parking when he was shot.
