UPDATED: Fort Worth’s Rahr & Sons included in wins TheFullPint.com’s “Best Down South Craft Brewery” contest
TheFullPint.com is closing up voting in a couple days for its Best Down South Craft Brewery contest. Included among the breweries is Fort Worth's Rahr & Sons, which is currently in first place, beating out the Sweetwater Brewery from Atlanta by just 53 votes as of 10:25 a.m.
Rahr promises to put Bucking Bock on tap this Saturday should they win the competition. Bucking Bock is Rahr's seasonal beer for Spring, "golden in color and mildly hopped... kick'n in at 7.5% alcohol." It was a bronze medalist in the 2008 World Beer Cup. That's plenty of incentive to vote, right?
UPDATE: And they won.
