Watauga’s Chef Point Cafe to appear on April 6 episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives
This will be the second Dallas-Fort Worth area restaurant to be featured from Guy Fieri's January 2009 visit.
Fire up your Tivo, Fort Worth! On January 6th, Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives paid a visit to Chef Franson Nwaeze of Chef Point Cafe in Watauga to film a segment for the show. The episode airs Monday April 6 at 9PM on The Food Network.
Chef Point Cafe serves up gourmet grub in a gas station (yes, a gas station). With a motto of “white tablecloth dining without the white tablecloth” Chef Point Cafe can safely claim to be the area’s only gourmet gas station. Dishes such as escargot, mussels, lobster bisque, and duck make this place a must visit for any foodie. Who knew a Conoco could be culinary?

The bread pudding is AWESOME with a capital "A"!
It was KXAS-NBC5 back in 2002-3 who featured this restaurant on the 'Freedom Fries' boycott the French. I was intrigued so I trekked from Collin County to Haltom City/Watauga to locate this place.
Now it is a 'must-do' anytime I need to take a trip to Tarrant county!
