Summer Shakespeare to return to Fort Worth

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

I miss the dear, departed Shakespeare in the Park Festival at the pavilion in Trinity Park. There are worse ways to spend a summer evening than sitting on a blanket with cold one watching Hamlet or King Lear.

Well, good news Fort Worth, Mark Lowry at Theater Jones tells us that Summer Shakespeare will return to Fort Worth, if not Trinity Park. The new Trinity Shakespeare Festival will present Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night and will begin with previews on June 9 and 10, and shows running through June 28 in TCU’s air-conditioned Buschman and Hays theaters.

No ticket information is available yet. For a complete cast list, visit the Theater Jones site.
