Video Interview & Performance: Salim Nourallah
This Friday at Sons of Hermann Hall, local singer/songwriter and producer Salim Nourallah will release his fourth solo album*, Constellation. Nourallah stopped by the (new) Pegasus News World Headquarters recently for an interview and to play a few songs in the "studio."
The video contains clips of Nourallah playing three songs from Constellation, "Don't Mind Me," "Be Here Now," and "Saint Georges." While here, he divulged some information about the new record, about working with a producer (other than himself; Billy Harvey), and about being signed to the German label, Tapete Records. Nourallah also brought along his son, Gavin, who has an audio cameo at the end.
Salim Nourallah Interview (03/09)
*Friday marks the European release date, but Nourallah and company have nearly figured out the U.S. distribution details. But, as the internet has no bounds, the album will be available on iTunes soon, as well. Download to your heart's content.

Travis Bush, says:
"Don't Mind Me" reminds me of that song Under The Mily Way by Church mixed with some Camper van Beethoven.
