How can one possibly leave their infant child OVERNIGHT in the car as if it were a gym bag?

While my first response is horror like yours snowboard... the article mentions a 3 year old and a 6 year old. I don't want to make excuses for someone, but seriously, 3 kids?

Daycare -> working mom.
CPS on the spot, no mention of dad/husband -> single
Home from work - Ok, Tim is eating - and raising hell - and Tom is washing up - and raising hell - and little Tam is quietly asleep in the crib - thank god....
That is a simple checklist to miss... quiet??? Did I bring Tam in? What the HELL was that? "TOM put your brother down NOW! and HOW did that get plugged in and why is it smoking?" -- now what was I thinking?
That woman is tortured in the deepest ring of hell right this second. One curse more or less from any of us is a whisper.
