Warriors? Not so much.

Warriors? Not so much.

The linked article calls this game "hardly fair," pointing to the Dallas Mavericks being rested and ready and the Golden State Warriors being tired and on a low note. This publication, however, says "hardly fair, my ass!" In their previous match-up earlier this month, the Mavs and the Warriors met in Sac Town, where the Mavs were handed their dignity. If the fates conspired to give the Mavs a leg up, considering the previous pairing, hell yes.

In the 126-106 win in Dallas on Wednesday evening, Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry each put down 26 points, while J.J. Barea added 20 to the tally. Six Mavs players scored in the double digits. Anthony Morrow was Golden State's top performer with 29 points. Though the Warriors came within four late in the third quarter, Barea led an 8-0 run that gave the Mavs some cushion for good.

The win is Dallas' ninth straight at home, important to note as seven of their final 11 games are also at home. Currently holding onto the eighth place slot in the Western Conference, the Mavs are only three games out of third.
