Fairmont Dallas creates special menu for Earth Hour in Pyramid Room

The restaurant will be lit with candles only.

Pyramid Restaurant at The Fairmont Dallas has created a special $45 menu for this weekend’s “Earth Hour” observance on Saturday, March 28.

The restaurant will be lit only with candles, and there'll be a seance after dinner. (The part about the seance is a joke.) Guests may also check out the lights being turned off throughout downtown Dallas from our Terrace level.

Without further ado, the menu:

First: Cane Sugar Gravlax, Whole Wheat Blinis, West Texas Honeyed Crème Fraîche, Loch Duart Scottish Salmon (Sustainably Farm Raised Atlantic Salmon)

Second: Grapefruit Lacquered Quail, Organic Shiitake Tempura, Baby Spinach, Ginger Vinaigrette (Quail is from Lockhart County Texas & Mushrooms are Local Organic)

Third: Local Wild Boar Chop, Deep Ellum Blue Cheese Polenta, Petite Vegetables, Texas Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Veal Glaze (Blue Cheese is from a Local Dallas Cheese maker & Boar is Organically Local)

Fourth: Limoncello Cheesecake, Citrus Infused Mascarpone Cheese, Pecan, Raw Sugar Crust Huckleberry Preserve (Limoncello is House made, Pecans are from West Texas)

All Herbs on this menu as well as on all our offerings in the hotel come from our organic herb garden on the Terrace.
