League of Women Voters-Arlington Forum to explore JPS Health Services
On Tuesday, April 7, the Arlington League of Women Voters will host a forum about John Peter Smith Hospital Health Services at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Arlington. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The public is invited.
The speakers will be Robert Early, President and CEO of JPS Health Network; Martha Walker, former Arlington City Councilwoman and former Member Tarrant County Hospital District Board of Managers; and Ann Sutherland, member LWV-Tarrant County and advocate for school-based health clinics. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
The League of Women Voters of Arlington, a non-profit and non-partisan organization of volunteers, holds frequent public forums on issues of concern to the community, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. LWVA’s mission is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. Membership is open to all citizens of voting age.
