Oak Cliff shooting leaves one dead, two wounded

It happened outside a suspected drug house in the 2100 block of Custer Dr. in Oak Cliff: three men were standing around and a fourth man, wielding a firearm, showed up to rob them.

Cue gunfire, as the three who were the targets of the robber were shot in the act of fleeing. 18-year-old Russell Hardaway died of wounds received; the two other men remain in critical condition in the hospital, and police say they are not cooperating in the investigation.

listen. all of this information is inaccurate. the other 2 are not cooperating because 1-Zedrick was shot inthe face and is unable to talk.They were in critical condition for God's sake. He doesnt even know Russell has died. Noone will tell him until he is in better shape.I am the mother of a friend of Russell and Zed. I did not have to leave my house to get information. I simply picked up the phone and called the hospitals myself. They were inside the house when Zedric was shot, he ran out the back door and told the neighbor Mickey shot me. Do some actual footwork people and print the facts.

Yup..just upstanding citizens chilling out and someone who they "don't know" who is horribly violent, starts shooting in their front yard. Do you really think the cops aren't asking other people, and have you reported the name of the person who did the shooting, or are you and other people they may have talked to afraid to say something? Gang sh!t, gangster wannabe a$$holes, violent people, and those who associate with them, have always been the bane of Oak Cliff.

Being one who grew up in West Dallas, I have little sympathy for those who happen to know the mother f*cker who would actually shoot them in the face..
