Residency of Addison mayor called into question
Joe Chow and his wife currently rent an apartment in Addison but own a home in Dallas.
Addison Mayor Joe Chow, who is running for a third term in May, is having his town/city residency questioned since he only rents an apartment in Addison while maintaining a home in Dallas. Chow says only his son Arthur lives at the Dallas house. Critics also question why Arthur and Chow's daughter, Alice, who he claims lives in North Dallas, are still registered to vote in Addison and why both voted in Addison in last November's election.

I know Mayor Joe Chow,... this is a tough time for a GOOD man. Joe is honorable, a real man and this is ridiculous. Shame on the guy who brought all this up, with hiring private investigators and all, tailing the Mayor, hiding and waiting for some dirt to publish! Just looking for something irregular about him and anything about his tenure in office. Shameful dirty politics! Almost racist tactics being done here. I don't like this at all.

If he's a good Mayor and running the City of Addison properly by keeping citizens safe, following by-laws, supporting the community, and performing his civic duty, more power to him!
Shame on the detective that chose to throw dirt at him. Worse yet, the person that hired him!
I bet the detective or person that hired the detective has a nasty background of his own!
Does anybody know their name and age? I bet they won't come forward with that information either!
I can pull a complete background check on them quite easily. I bet I can find something that can be published for all to read - including Mayor Chow.
Leave the Mayor alone. He hasn't hurt anyone!

I live in 15777 Quorum, the apartment that Joe Chow rents, and have unfortunately only seen him since after this article was published.
What is odd to me is that these comments are rants about a detective being hired... what IS troubling is that an Addison resident had to resort to such measures to bring truth to light.
Joe is a really nice guy, and it may be fine with you that he doesn't live in Addison- but he plain and simple shouldn't be deceptive about it.
