AFI Dallas news flash: free screening of Texasville director’s cut with Bogdanovich on Friday
This just in, as they say:
AFI Dallas has added a special event for this Friday (April 3) at 1:45 p.m. at the Magnolia, and it's a nifty one: director Peter Bogdanovich, already in town for The Last Picture Show ('71), will stick around for a special "Director's Cut" screening of his (and McMurtry's) follow-up documenting the same characters later in life, Texasville ('90).
Bogdanovich will be staying for a Q&A after the movie - should be great!
Details will be forthcoming, undoubtedly.
