Coppell City Council to meet twice this week: March 31 and April 1
An example of a building that might be a candidate for the facade grant program. If it were in Coppell. (Which it isn't.)
The Coppell City Council will meet twice this week, first in special session on Tuesday evening (March 31) to go over Mira Mar Development's request for municipal improvements associated with the Alexander Court subdivision. There will also be a closed-to-the-public executive session that same evening for a discussion with the City Attorney regarding the city's oil and gas ordinance. A review of the five-year plan and a discussion regarding the Council retreat (in open session) will round out the evening's agenda.
The next evening (Wednesday, April 1), councilfolk will meet again, this time for a joint work session with members of the Coppell Economic Development Corp. and the Planning and Zoning Commission. This one is set to begin at 6 p.m. in the Fire Training Room at Fire Station #3, 133 Parkway Blvd. The meeting agenda includes discussion of the implications for individual boards of Coppell 2030; business retention strategies; and the facade grant program.
