The Dallas Mavericks make up for a devastating loss on Sunday by delivering one of their own to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday evening. The Mavs, energized by the return of Josh Howard, beat the short-handed Minnesota 108-88.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 with 12 rebounds, while Jason Terry scored 21. The returned Josh Howard scored 14 and Jason Kidd scored eight with 13 assists. The Timberwolves' Kevin Love scored 23 with 12 rebounds.
