Texas Governor Rick Perry says we shouldn’t be alarmed by his flu-based disaster declaration
In the midst of school district closings and event cancellations over the swine flu brouhaha (Gesundheit!), Texas Governor Rick Perry wants people to know that his recent declaration of disaster didn't really mean that they had any cause to worry.
Furthermore, the guv is urging folks to "remain calm," while in the background all state high school and Interscholastic League academic competitions have been suspended or postponed.
(Nothing to worry about here, folks, just move it on along...)
